25th Of February 2007

25th of February 2007, was the 8th day of the Lunar New Year. Also meaning the day where the chinese hokkien "bai tin gong" I'm do not know how or what is it called in english, so I'll just put it like that. I don't do this ceremony for some reason, so I was invited by Wei Howe to go to his house and sorta take part in it. I do not think I took part at all, cause all I took part in was really in the eating, drinking and a small gamble.

It was really brilliant! *as brits will say* As there were the lion dance, three houses had the lion dance, but I only got to watch 2 of them, 1 of it was in Wei Howe's house, and another just outside the turning to his house. Both of it was awesome! But the one other than Wei Howe's was spectacular! Because of the pole jumping, I guess that is how you can call it.

Then here comes the part we've all been waiting for, Wei Howe invited the friend's from college, like me, Cann Vin, Yung Ming, Chen *took part in Yang Guang Mei Shao Nan*, Mr. Lai *lecturer and friend*, Bike *don't know his name, only know his nick*, and Boon Kiat?? *not very sure about his name too*. Kiat and Bike was not from our college, but we do know them somehow. After the Lion Dance which was brilliant. We feasted. HAHA!! Loads of food of all kind was there, they had duck, chicken, roasted pork, yam cake, prawns, crab, noodles and many more.

The food was awesome! Especially the yam cake!! YUM!! Twas full of stuff inside! Not like the ones you guys can find outside, because it was home made!! Compliments to Wei Howe's Mom. Mrs. Soh. Bet you guys mouth are watering now eh??

Everything ended at 3.30am after we gambled, the god of wealth took some of my greens, blues, and a red away from me. Sad but happy as well. Then me and Wei Howe went for a cup of tea at a nearby mamak store. Talked about loads of stuff, funny, business, regrets and etc. After that both of us went home. I got a cold bath. Twas great since I was feeling kind of hot that night.

Spectacular Night I dare say!
